Comprehensive Vocational Assessment |
Identifies: (1) Employability - whether or not individual is a
candidate for successful employment or training in the target occupation;
(2) Independence - whether or not the individual is capable of
independent living, including, but not limited to, housing,
transportation, financial and family issues; (3) Intervention -
recommendations for additional services or activities which will enhance
an individual's vocational planning, employability and/or independence;
and (4) Occupations - any occupational recommendations made by the
evaluator are supported by specific testing and professional observations.
The assessment is conducted by synthesizing existing data, consumer
interviews, labor market surveys, vocational profiles and vocational
consultation and provided in the form of a comprehensive written report.
Available as one or two-day evaluation. |
| Learning Styles
Assessment |
Assesses 49 elements in 6 basic areas: brain
dominance; sensory modalities; physical needs; environment; social
groupings; and attitudes. Identifies how students learn, think,
concentrate, solve problems and master learning activities. Assists
teachers and parents in creating appropriate learning environment.
Suggests ways to improve study skills and enhance learning
motivation. Advises older students and parents on career planning.
Available for ages 7 and up; provides a personalized 12-17 page written
report. |
| Skills Assessment |
Identifies abilities and current proficiency
levels with many different software packages, hardware, and work
environments. For more information concerning the specific tests,

Transferable Skills Analysis |
Reviews previous work experiences and the skills acquired. Takes into
consideration any acquired disabilities since previous employment and
creates a profile of current skills and abilities. The Transferable Skills
Analysis is provided in the form of a written report. |

Vocational Consultation |
Consists of a meeting with all interested parties after vocational
services have been performed and a written report has been generated
during which any unclear items can be discussed. |

Job Analysis |
Provides information specific to one business location and includes:
company information; occupation/job being analyzed; requirements of the
occupation/job; wage information; accommodations or modifications which
could be recommended or are in place; a physician's statement and/or
release; and any photos of the work site and the occupation/job being
analyzed. The Job Analysis is provided in the form of a written report. |

Situational/Work Assessment |
Evaluates work skills, tolerances, and general work behaviors from
observation in an existing work setting. Provides a written report with
recommendations. |

Comprehensive Personality Profile |
Provides detailed type and personality information pertaining to work
environment based upon the Sixteen Types Personality Profile and
Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis (communication and conflict; time
management; meeting management; teamwork; potential vocational aptitudes;
strengths and weaknesses related to workplace). |

Labor Market Survey |
Provides a minimum of 3-5 employer contacts with complete results per
occupation within a 50-mile radius of the candidate's residence which
includes: company information; requirements of the occupation; working
hours, wage information; training requirements; accommodations or
modifications accessibility; and whether there are any current openings. |
| Going-to-Work - Job Readiness Class |
The Going-to-Work class utilizes the Getting the Job You Really Want Video Series that take the class step-by-step through every phase of job search, plus keeping it! Learn how to identify what you want in a job, find the job in less time, interview effectively, negotiate pay and benefits, keep that job, and move up. The classes will meet
three times a week for one hour for five weeks (15 sessions). A workbook will be provided and completion is required to receive the certificate of completion of the program. |
| Welfare-to-Work - Job Readiness Class |
The Welfare-to-Work class motivates and educates on four essential job search topics: Getting Started; Your Job Is Out There; Making a Good Impression; and Success That Lasts. This
class is excellent for new welfare applicants, candidates for welfare-to-work programs, welfare-to-work program participants, and welfare-to-work professionals. The classes will meet twice a week for one hour for five weeks (10 sessions). A workbook will be provided and completion is required to receive the certificate of completion of the program. |
| From Pink Slip to Paycheck |
From Pink Slip to Paycheck which helps provide direction on the road to reemployment. The series covers:
How to maintain a positive attitude; Handling interviewing in 2005 and on;
How to use networking to your advantage; Developing a strategy for reentering the job
market; and Writing strategies for resume's and cover letters.
The classes will meet twice a week for one hour for five weeks (10 sessions), a workbook will be provided and completion is required to receive the certificate of completion of the program. |
